GUESS who had a birthday?

Hey Y'all,
Last night I attended the GUESS 30th Anniversary event. The clothing line was created by the Marciano brothers who were from France but moved to California to start the brand. They helped celebrate along side Marie Claire Magazine.

There were NYX make-up artists creating mini make overs, models were sporting the Capsule Collection, a GUESS photo booth was stationed at the back of the store, a cute candy shop for those who had a sweet tooth and The Bumbys were there.

Who are the Bumbys you may ask? They are a couple who call themselves Gill and Jill Bumby. "They are an anonymous performance group who provide fair and honest appraisals of your appearance" is the title quote on their Facebook. They wear color coordinated wigs, sunglasses, hats, and handkerchiefs concealing their identities. This gimmick alone is what intrigues the victim (I mean participant) but then the anticipation of what they are writing about you on an old fashion typewriter gives the victim (I mean participant) an unsettling feeling of what they are writing about you. The Bumby's do not speak to you, they only observe and type. I had the privilege of being appraised by the red wigged female and can I just say she was dead on at that moment. I'm thinking about framing my Bumby Appraisal, Kuddos to you both.

I love this brand, the clothes are sexy and fitted and have this timeless style. One birthday I really wanted the GUESS look and bought the cutest polka dot halter top from the line.

The clothing line has featured some of the most beautiful women in the world, but Sophia Loren is by far my favorite. I couldn't wait to pick up a boyfriend tee anniversary shirt with her on it. A portion of sales will go to Save the Children Foundation. Anything for a good cause right? 

There is this one particular dress that is to die for, the Mary Cap-Sleeve Dress-Anniversary Collection. The dress has padded bra cups with underwire, fully lined giving you a sexy silhouette and ruched in the waistline . The salesperson told me that this dress has been re-released three times this year alone. If you have a chance ladies check out this dress.
