Versace for H&M (New York City)

Hey Y'all,
Did you hear about the Limited Edition Versace for H&M line? Of Course, Who hasn't?
After reading all about the collaboration, I was floored. I went into one of my fashion obsesiones (like Aventura).
I knew the lines would be long; I needed a stategy.
I researched all the rules and guidelines, mapped out my location, reviewed the collection on the website and was on a mission. My initial thought was to show up at the Flagship store (51 Street @ 5 Ave) at around 5am. But something told me that was risky option.
My gut told me to go to 34 Street, since 34 Street has 2 stores only a block away from each other, I figured the fashionistas waiting for the line would divy up and make it less overwhelming.
The temperature dropped to 35 degrees, and arguments began because people were trying to cut in front of the line throughout the long cold night. People were completely stoked and enthusiastic about the whole thing. Discussions on what articles of clothing people wanted filled the cold air. Regular passerbys asking "what is this for?" "what are people waiting for?" never ceased. Then daylight came and when that wristband got placed on your wrist, there was a sense of relief.

RULES:
(The first 280 in line will receive one of 14 different colored bracelets, 20 people for each bracelet color. On the bracelet you will be given a specific time for shopping in our designated area. The bracelets are only needed for our women’s collection. Customers buying the men’s collection will not require a bracelet. When your time slot arrives, you will enter the designated area to shop for 15 minutes. Our goal is to create a better shopping experience for all of our customers.
If you are not one of the first 280 in line, you will of course have the opportunity to shop from the men’s collection or within H&M. When the 14 groups have finished their shopping we will open up the women’s collection to all of our customers.
To make sure as many customers as possible are able to buy from the Versace for H&M collection, we have a shopping limit. Every customer can buy from the entire collection, but with a limit of purchasing a maximum of two pieces per product, ie not more than two sizes (shoes/garments) or pieces (accessories) per product per customer. The shopping limit covers the entire Versace for H&M collection. Your place in line does not guarantee any items from the Versace for H&M collection.
Once in the store, you were directed to make another line inside but only when your call time came. I was very impressed with this system. Employees were restocking the racks in 15 minute intervals, making your shopping experience convenient.
Except for waiting near an empty rack for a particular dress in my size to appear, I had concluded my shopping 3 minutes before end time. "Yay, Go Me!".
I am completely in love with my pieces and I have to say, it was worth the wait. Many haters said "what's the point?, it's not worth it, Why would you do that?". But the fact is many people cannot afford the actual line, and if a person feels that strongly about it, then she should do what makes them happy, And "I'M HAPPY!"
Here are some pics of the pieces.
