Hey Y'all,
The little monsters have invaded Barneys. For a limited time "Monsters" will have a place to shop for Gaga goodies.
Lady Gaga released her Limited Edition merchandise on 11/21/11. Their windows have been converted into Gaga Art (Move over...Holiday windows!).
The workshop is located on the 5th floor of the men's department. Inside, this wonderland is filled with accessories, apparel, jewelry, make-up, and treats. A Gaga headed spider towers over you in a section of the room, and is one of many mini structures. Designer shoes and sunglasses she wore in her videos are on display for you to see.
I enjoyed walking through the shop and trying on the merchandise. I pictured myself trying to walk in Alexander McQueen's "Armadillo" shoes (pictured above) even though it was made out of chocolate!
The merchandise is beautiful, dirty, rich. But beware, many of the items are pricey, so keep your poker face on. If you feel a little hesitant in buying, it may ease your pain to know that a portion of their sales will be donated to Gaga's charity called Born This Way Foundation. The workshop will be open until January 2, stop by and keep one claw free and the other one with your money honey. (PLEASE NOTE: You cannot return or exchange this merchandise)
If anyone checks the workshop let me know what you guys think in a comment.
Wow. The artwork used in setting up this whole Gaga event is insane. Thank you for sharing it. For some reason or other it reminds me of the nightmares that Pee Wee Herman had in the movie "Pee Wee's Big Adventure". Really cool. I wish I would have had the opportunity to view this thing in person. But thank you again for the pictures.
