Hurricane Sandy

Hey Y'all,
It's been pretty difficult for me to post. Ever since Hurricane Sandy hit New York, everyone has been making efforts to assist the people in need. The people who have lost everything are not only struggling with trying to get back to normal but they also have the holidays fast approaching them without any resources to give their families a nice holiday.
I do not feel comfortable posting events while knowing so many people are without. So, I have been dedicating my time and effort to donating as much as possible.
Everything must be taken one step at a time to what will be a long rehabilitating process. If anyone is interested in donating I have posted several links below.

Silence in the Church! the Ghouls are walking

Hey Y'all,
Every year I love attending the Halloween Extravaganza at St. John the Divine Church. They convert the church into a spooky hall where they present a silent horror movie with organ music playing in the background followed by a procession of ghouls that come out hell. This year's film was Nosferatu (Dracula).
My favorite part is the procession, all the time that goes into this preparation is amazing. People of all ages participate to bring us a great performance. If you've never been and plan on coming to New York City for Halloween, you should definitely check it out.

Skull Cut Out

Hey Y'all,
I hope that everyone getting hit by Hurricane Sandy is safe and sound. This hit has given me a lot of time to myself and I have tried to remain as productive as possible, there's only so much TV I can watch!
I decided to try the Skull-Cut-Out Tee, it's been done by everyone except for me, so I figure what the heck. My flip cam died in the middle of this so I don't have any footage of it being created.

Sailor Twain at the New York Public Library

Hey Y'all,
While at the steampunk event at Comic Con, I was invited to the Sailor Twain exhibit at the New York Public Library. Author Mark Siegel has released a new book called "Sailor Twain or the Mermaid in the Hudson", it is a New York Times Bestseller. It was a great night and best of all people were dressed up. I took this opportunity to wear my steampunk costume (bought not made, I need more time to make my own). Everyone dressed there looked awesome I was in awe at the details.

USA's New York Hosts the first SENSATION

Hey Y'all,
SENSATION is one of the best dance parties to take place. This party has taken place all over the world and for the first time ever the United States specifically Brooklyn, New York. SENSATION takes place with some of the best world DJs with an amazing light show and more. It started back in 2000 in Amsterdam and has grown tremendously. Everyone must wear white to this event, it was created as a tribute to CEO Duncan Stutterheim's late brother Miles who died in a car accident in which everyone wore white to his funeral.
The Barclays Center hosted the Innerspace theme with the following DJ's on Friday night 10/26/12: Mr. White, Dennis Ferrer, Fedde Le Grand, Joris Voorn and Nic Fanciulli.
I wore white but paired it off with my gray converse sneakers. I new I would be dancing all night and didn't want to worry myself with painful sexy heels. I took some videos but unfortunately I was bouncing up and down and didn't realize the time-lapse function was on...BAH!!
It was an amazing time, I'm glad I got to experience it.
